Management Team

Mark Singh - Managing Director, has over thirteen years of investment banking experience. He left RBTT Merchant Bank Limited (RMB) as the Managing Director, a post he occupied for the last three years of his tenure there. Prior to that position, Mark was primarily responsible for all business development activities at RMB. He has a diverse array of experience in structured finance, asset-backed securities and securitizations. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of the West Indies and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, NY, U.S.A.

Bryan Ramsumair - Vice President, Business Development, has over eleven years of investment banking experience at RBTT Merchant Bank Limited (RMB). Bryan left RMB as Vice President, Financial Engineering. Prior to that, Bryan spent time in the origination and risk management units of RMB, structuring and analyzing transactions for a number of governments and corporations throughout the Caribbean. Bryan has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Jason Clarke - Vice President, Investments, has over ten years of investment banking experience, having worked at RBTT Merchant Bank Limited (RMB) and another local subsidiary of an international financial institution. Jason has extensive experience in risk management, structured products and derivative instruments. He was responsible for monitoring and managing the TT$2.0 billion derivative book at RMB. His last position held there was Senior Manager – Risk & Control. Prior to banking, Jason worked in the auditing and accounting profession. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management (Hons.) from UWI (St Augustine); he is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Angus Young - Vice President, Business Development, has over seven years of investment banking experience. He has worked across many organizations ranging from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Caribbean Home Insurance, General Finance Corporation and RBTT Merchant Bank Limited. His last post at RBTT Merchant Bank Limited was Assistant Vice President – Capital Market Origination where he was charged with the responsibility of capital market origination in Trinidad, the Eastern Caribbean and Guyana. Angus has worked with all the neighboring governments and corporations in the Eastern Caribbean in finding and providing solutions to their debt management policies and economic expansion strategy, via the regional capital market. Angus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from The University of Western Ontario, Canada, and a postgraduate Accounting Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada.

Tariq Alli - Vice President, Distribution, has over seven years of investment banking experience. Tariq left RBTT Merchant Bank Limited as Assistant Vice President – Distribution, where he was responsible for leading syndicated bond issues and structured products totaling more than TT$2 billion in Trinidad, Barbados and Central America to a myriad of institutional clients. Tariq has extensive experience in syndicating, pricing and structuring capital market transactions. He also has significant experience in credit analysis of fixed income and equity securities. Tariq holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Hons) from the University of the West Indies and has also successfully completed many investment banking related courses to date.
